This site appears somewhat smaller than the previous two missions, but there is at least one other large level below the entry level.
After taking a moment to spread out, X-Com agents began to spot Hyperworms coming up the grav lifts. A few of these were picked off before the first Anthropods were seen by Megan. Not liking the situation, squad 2 ran for cover before they were spotted.
Another Anthropod popped up between squads 1 and 2. This one threw out a few smoke bombs before dying; it was apparently unshielded.
Lorien catches another Anthropod off-guard and forces it to throw away its shield and weapon. Unfortunately, three more show up just afterwards. Hal pops off one shot, killing the unshielded Anthropod, and the rest of the nearby agents split up to get away from the explosive objects nearby. Kevin deploys a proximity mine in case the aliens come down between the cars. Matt briefly attempts to panic an Anthropod, although it is killed a moment later by Lorien. Megan attempted to approach the group as they advanced on X-Com, but was forced back by a thrown boomeroid.
Squad 1 finally gets into position to do some good. Steve fails to mind control his target, but the aliens turn their attention towards squad 1, allowing the other two squads to move towards the enemy again.
Chaos breaks loose at this point, with everyone shooting at everyone else. X-Com comes out on top, and after some painful cleanup, everyone goes home.
We used up a lot of toxin ammo. Everyone with a Toxigun had three clips, and two agents ran out at the very end.
