Although the human guards here are not as well-trained as Marsec Agents, Megapol Police, Cult of Sirius members, or gang members, they may still have heavy weapons that could do great damage to our shields. This shouldn't pose too great of a problem, as we have a very large force and each squad has at least one member with a weapon designed to make things burn or explode.

Squadmembers and weapons
1 Sarah (MML/MS) Chris (Plas/MS) Alissa (Dev) Lane (AC/AC) MMetke (Dev)
2 Dave (Dev) Megan (Dev) MStar (AC-IN) Lorien (Dev)
3 Kevin (Dev) Scott (Dev) Steve (Dev) James (MHL/Dev)
4 Marcus (Dev) Taina (Dev) Matthew (MML) Lindsey (Dev)

We went in, lit a lot of things on fire, then we went home.

We were going to clear out the cover in the area where most of the agents deployed with explosive charges, but had to stop and fight aliens instead. Matt Staroscik does a good job of spreading some fire around while the skeletoid and popper approach and are killed. A group of Evonet guards approached behind them, but they were completely useless. They had no shields and totally panicked when Matt Staroscik lit them on fire. I don't even know what weapons they had.

Another pair of skeletoids were blown apart in midair by an explosion from... something... could have been Lane's autocannons, although it looked more like a missile or minimissile explosion.

Another popper approaches, but is crushed under a collapsing walkway brought down by some stray weapons fire and explodes.

Squad 3 moves through the nearby room to get around the flames. Scott blasts a hole in the wall rather than open the door two feet away, giving him line of sight on a spitter that is terminally allergic to devastator blasts.

Squad 3 emerges behind a multiworm moving towards the other agents while an unseen Anthropod chucks boomeroids at Steve. The boomeroids don't explode close enough to significantly drain his shields, even with the secondary explosions of vortex mines carried by the deceased skeletoids. The multiworm gets clobbered from behind by squad 3 and above by squad 1, which by this time has progressed towards the center of the room on the catwalks. The source of the boomeroids appears from out of the smoke running right towards a large group of agents and is swatted down while another Anthropod is spotted by squads 1 and 3.

This new enemy takes a heavy HE missile to the face from James and decides to lie down. A pretty large section of the upper catwalks decide to drop down with it as well, although none that any of squad 1's non-fliers are standing on. Taina drops an explosive charge primed for 3 seconds to do some more damage to the building when the last guard appears and is hit in the face with a heavy IN missile.

With the restraints on our firepower lifted, not only were the poorly equipped Evonet guards barely noticed, but even the aliens were completely unable to respond to our assault. We also didn't bring any toxiguns, so although we used up a bunch of other ammo, we preserved our supply of Toxin-B clips. On the other hand, we recovered very little equipment due to the boomeroids detonating all of the skeletoids' gear, and much of the rest was consumed in fire. Somewhat miraculously, Lane didn't light a single friendly on fire. Perhaps his last session in the Rehabilitator 9000 was effective in eliminating this tendency.
