The Iliad institue was full of civilians running around, causing lots of interference on the motion scanners and making it difficult for any X-Com agents to get clear shots at the aliens they glimpsed. Squad 3 moved out to explore immediately while squads 1 and 2 began searching a minute later. Kevin runs down a brainsucker and a multiworm, the only two aliens in the building. He is nearly brainsucked, but the brainsucker fails to penetrate his helmet and he and Lane kill the multiworm and its spawn.
