We knocked out a pair of fast attack escorts during an alien bomber attack to hopefully reduce the number of escort ships available to defend alien transports, which we will surely see soon. We would like to capture more small shields for vehicles from these ships so that we can reinforce our fleet a bit before our advanced workshops come online.

A few Anthropods were already outside of the UFO, but with every agent on the scene gunning for them, they didn't last long.
Squad 5 advanced into the smoke,killing off the spitters and Anthropods there, but were unlucky in encountering a popper that detonated some additional explosives nearby, damaging some shields and wounding Eric, who will be unable to train for at least a couple of days.
