Thursday April 13th, 2084

The gravball league is still non-hostile, so we don't have to worry about toxin-immune guards.

All squads spread out to explore the building. Steve spots the first skeletoid, with a dimension launcher up in an excellent spot for an ambush. He turns the heck around causing the missile to miss and take out some stairs instead, while squad 3 looks for a way into that room from the upper level.

Squad 3 eventually makes it around to the right door, with an anthropod coming through it and a skeletoid with dimension launcher way in the back. They quickly take out the anthropod and scatter into side rooms and around the corner. The skeletoid's missile takes out another anthropod and unfortunately opens up a wall giving it a clear shot at Megan. Megan's shields hold, but the floor does not, sending her clear down to the bottom level.

Squad 5 moves back into that room to look for aliens while Lane peeks around the corner. The rest of the squads are still searching for aliens in other parts of the building. It takes a while, but eventually a cloaked skeletoid with a dimension launcher is flushed out where Steve can see and psi panic it. It runs and hides, much too fast for Steve to follow, but he maintains a psi lock on it and squad 3 to track it down, reinforce the panic, and kill it with toxin darts.

A fairly painless mission. Not very many aliens appeared here.
