Footage of the battle is here Sarah and Lane went in first, scattering missiles around the UFO interior, with Lane eventually running out of missiles and Sarah running low on shields. The other squads advanced past them while they retreated outside the UFO, and finished off the few aliens they could find.
While they searched the UFO interior, a few skeletoids surprised Lane and Sarah outside the UFO. Sarah knocked two out of the sky with a missile, but lost shields and let Lane chase after the other with his toxigun. It ran inside the UFO before he could catch it, where the other squads caught it.
Squad 2 eventually followed a motion sensor signal down a hole that had been blasted in the UFO and spotted the remaining anthropods. One of them somehow vanished just as 3 devastator blasts were about to hit it, reappearing a fraction of a second later after the beams had gone by. It did not evade the next pair of beams, however. After those two were dead, the remaining pair up on the ridge panicked, and were easily terminated.
We used up more equipment than I would have liked, but no injuries, and we did recover some equipment.
